Rockland County residents continue to be stunned by Saturday’s ambush slayings of two New York City police officers, and are sharing in the efforts to remember the slain cops.
In Suffern, the village’s police department has organized a t-shirt sale fundraiser.
Suffern Police Chief Clarke Osborn said that his department is selling custom-made t-shirts, with the proceeds from the sales to go to the families of the two slain officers.
“We want the NYPD and all law enforcement officers to realize that they have tremendous support on the difficult job that they do day in and day out to ensure our communities safety,” said Osborn.
The shirts are $15 each and can be purchased at the Suffern Police Department, 61 Washington Ave., Suffern, while supplies last.
